You Never Get a Second Chance

...........to make a first impression.

It is more important than it has ever been to remember that you are always being watched. People will silently judge you regardless of where you are and what you are doing. That you should care or change who you are is not the issue here and by no means do we feel that it is a good thing people are paying so much attention to others; we just want you to know that it does happen and it is happening all around you.

So to be better, to reap more rewards and to understand how you can facilitate growth within your job remind yourself that you are always on stage. Dress appropriately for interviews, sit up straight and don’t mumble. Do all the things your teacher taught you in kindergarten. Your next potential boss just might be in the crowd and she may feel more positive about hiring you because of the way you handle yourself.

There aren’t really second chances so why not try to make every day and every moment an opportunity to leave a great first impression. You’ll be shocked at how others view you over time, when you take yourself seriously.
